Hours after I gave birth to my son, my doctor told me that they had observed a "uterine window" during my C-section, meaning that part of my uterus had stretched so thin that it was transparent. He told me it would be unsafe for me to carry another pregnancy, as there was a high risk of a life-threatening uterine rupture. For women like me, contraceptives and abortion are often lifesaving health care. Please don't allow medical providers to turn away women from receiving the care they need. Please oppose HB232.
