This bill will not protect those at most risk. Instead it protects the most dangerous individual, the stalker with a gun. Those who ignore the data and then go on to support a bill like this are doing so for political and ideological reasons that have nothing to do with public safety or an effective judiciary, nothing to do with good governance.
