We have numerous local roads in Keene that have become treacherous due to speeding vehicles. This endangers pedestrians and other drivers alike. I have drivers reaching 60 MPH on Roxbury St when they come down the hill after descending a hill and turning into a straightaway. Cameras will ensure vehicles obey speed limits in front of schools. Traffic cameras will bring safety and revenue to offset the cost of implementation.
