It is a violation of the Hippocratic oath that all physicians take to allow them to deny healthcare for their patients based on personal beliefs. If a physician cannot put their personal opinions aside when treating patients as a healthcare professional, then they should not be a physician. I have personally been on the receiving end of judgment from physicians that were supposed to treat me with dignity and respect. It is demoralizing and no NH citizen should be subjected to that treatment. I strongly oppose this bill and urge the committee to reject this bill.
