The language of this bill puts all people of New Hampshire at risk of not getting the help they need when they are down on their luck. I have volunteered at shelters and food banks and not once considered a person’s immigration status. I considered the person. Do we risk shuttering, or worse, criminalizing, people and agencies that are helping people get on their feet? And do we want to create a tattle tale culture? Where is the decency and integrity of the New Hampshire way in this bill? Please oppose this bill.
