Kevin Blanchette

Hello, I am highly offended by the idea of this bill. Getting their application notarized and having a color copy of their ID are completely unnecessary steps that create financial and logistical burdens to people. You should not need to find a notary (which most people, especially those with a disability, do not know how to do), and then pay money to vote. This is an outrageous and dangerous idea that limits the ability for people to vote. People who are unable to go to the polls on election day should not be marginalized. As a mental health counselor working with people with disabilities, I have seen many people who are unable to navigate such confusing systems, and instead will choose not to complete a task. This bill does not protect elections from the fraud that we have not even seen here in NH. All it does is take away the ability for some people to vote. This bill is dangerous and shameful; I urge you to shut down this bill. Thank You, Kevin Blanchette
