After all the support and work DHHS has done for our state during the health care outbreaks and continued testing for the overall health and wellbeing of our citizens... To defund would be the most careless act. This group of people ensure water quality of local swimming holes are clean and post then there is increased risk to the public in local bodies of water. This group has ensured drinking water in schools is safe for consumption (an issue that remains ongoing in Concord NH schools). This group has tested and logged millions of samples and directed local health care providers on appropriate steps of actions to ensure safety of staff and patients during outbreaks. Defunding DHHS would be a careless act and would risk the health and well being of all NH residents.
