When I am not actively trying to get pregnant, I have to be on some sort of birth control due to the fact that I have PCOS (Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome). PCOS causes irregular periods and in my case, none at all. If I am not taking birth control when I need to be taking it, by not having a period, it is causing build up in my uterus that can turn into cancerous cells. When I am done having children, I would like the option of having permanent sterilization. This bill will not only make it so I can't have a sterilization procedure, but I won't be able to take birth control to prevent cancerous cells building up in my uterus. You are essentially sayings it's okay that I get cancer, For me, birth control is a NEED, not a want.
