Given the sorry state of New Hampshire's efforts to date to achieve energy independence and a sustainable as well as economic energy system for the long term, it makes no sense to reverse and eventually eliminate our minimal efforts to support these goals with renewable portfolio standards. With our unambitious and moribund existing standards, we are already the laughing stock of New England states, and eliminating these will only make us more so among sensible and scientifically-minded people throughout the region. Please ITL this misguided legislation.
