Healthcare providers exist to provide healthcare to their patients. They already have a large amount of leeway for procedures they are uncomfortable performing and this bill does not need to exist. This bill simply makes it easier for those who have strong religious beliefs to use them to lord over those in need of healthcare. If your religion is so strong it comes in over the obligation to your patients outlined by the Hippocratic oath, a different career path should be considered. This bill will be particularly harmful to New Hampshire’s women; a fact that seems to be coming up more and more lately. EVERYONE DESERVES HEALTHCARE WITHOUT PREJUDICE.
