Lately, there has been a movement to prevent teachers from discussing "political" topics such a as menstruation, pronouns, and climate change in school. This has been paired with the banned books movement. Therefore, I find it hypocritical for the Education Committee to approve the showing of graphic images surrounding Planned Parenthood to students. Only apolitical resources must be provided in schools. I opposed HB662.
