New Hampshire is one of the few states with the lowest federal minimum wages in the country. It is the only state with the $7.25 per hour wage in New England. This minimum wage is incredibly hard to live off of, especially with the rising cost of living in the country and the high cost of living in the region. Gradually increasing the minimum wage would provide a feasible solution to the problem. Therefore, HB726 must be passed.
