This is ridiculous and this creates a burden on the voters and the folks at the town hall. I can’t speak for anyone else but the man at the town hall who sends the absentee ballots knows who I am. He knows my email address, he knows my phone number, I’m pretty sure he knows what I look like when I come through those doors he knows my name. Are we really going to make this man see my ID every year because I’m disabled and that’s not going to change either? I already have to show my ID if I drop my ballot off in person, which I do because the USPS is still broken. Why should I have to show my ID to request the ballot when I’ve been doing it for six years in this town, he knows who I am, he knows where I live, why do I have to personally appear as a disabled person just to request my ballot and also personally appear to drop it off? Why are the Republicans living in fear of people voting?
