What does the sponsor of this and similar bills have in mind? These bills would have a devastating impact on our state. Offshore wind is a clean, reliable energy source that would reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and bring jobs to our state. Wind and solar energy are more affordable than coal, gas, and oil. Repealing the renewable portfolio standard in particular would stop any progress that we've made to reduce fossil fuel use.
