I oppose any bill that ends or degrades the RPS program in NH that has been so successful in achieving diversity in local energy production. Bio mass energy improves markets for wood chips made from low grade timber, markets for which are critical to good forest management in the state. The wood products industry adds 250 million dollars in annual economic activity in New England alone based on a study done by NH timberland owners association several years ago. The RPS program also helps run of the river Hydro. According to Granite State hydro association just their members produce 50 MWs of power in NH. This is perhaps the most truely green energy on the grid. Respectfully Steve French
