The idea behind this bill is a commendable one - to make sure that the voices of children with disabilities and their families are heard regarding their experiences in public schools. The bill as written is too rigid and would be difficult for some districts to meet, espeically if the specific numbers and types of parents/ families did not have time to join a local advisory committee. There are also privacy concerns for students and their families.
