I am a special needs Mom who had 2 kids with IEP's. I fully support this bill to establish Special Education Advisory Councils. Pembroke and Merrimack Valley are 2 wonderful examples of a SEPAC done right. A nice mixture of parents, students with disabilities and staff working together, brainstorming. Sponsoring events and trainings and providing resources for Soecial Education families is really needed in each district. I can be reached at dmcote88@gmail.com for questions.
