I support HB254 NH End of Life Freedom Act. I have witnessed loved ones with terminal illnesses, in hospice care, who had to suffer traumatic and needlessly painful deaths. HB254 offers a compassionate, ethical option for people who qualify under the stringent guidelines of this legislation. The bill would establish a procedure for people with terminal illness to receive aid in dying through the self-administration of medicine. The medical aid in dying option should be available in New Hampshire. I strongly urge the passage of this legislation.
