Please oppose this bill. It represents an waste of legislative energy. I am a retired union member. I was able to support my four sons, including one disabled, provide them with quality health care when they were growing up and have a decent retirement now because of the current structure of the SEIU and the retirement system. I loved my job. It paid less than the same job in private sector but I loved it, And thousands of NH families can say the same. What these sponsors propose can only harm the citizens of New Hampshire and dissuade good people from joining the state service, and providing great service to the citizens of New Hampshire. The service provided to citizens by the state employees today far exceeds the overall miserable quality of service by the private sector today. Stability in government matters. This is another attempt to destabilize NH government. Please use your seats in Concord in a constructive manner in line with the future interests of the majority of citizens of this state, not like this.
