Please vote HB 303 Ought to Pass. This bill would assure that Granite State employees are protected by safety standards that are at least as effective as the OSHA standards. This bill allows for employers to have equivalent or more stringent standards. The point is that all employers should follow accepted safety standards. Employees expect their work places to be safe, that safety equipment is in place and that safety procedures are being taught and followed. Work place safety is a win-win for employers and employees. Employers with a safe work environment are more likely to have employees who healthy and ready to work. Employees who are not worried about unsafe working conditions are going to be more loyal, happier, and healthier workers.
