I'm testifying in opposition of CACR4 because college students are residents of the town in which they attend school for the duration of their studies. in order to retain these young people, I feel that it is valuable to encourage them to become civically involved and feel like true parts of the town. Limiting voting in the way that this bill proposes would simply make it more difficult for college students to vote, especially students who live in states where absentee or mail-in ballots may be difficult to obtain or schedule around studies.
