The arguments for this bill - waste capacity needed, employment, etc - blatantly disregard the negative effects on our local water supply, economy driven by natural resources e.g. Forest Lake State Park, the Ammonoosuc and Johns Rivers, the terrible track record of incompetent waste management by the proposed landfill company. Put a landfill in the middle of one of the most important economic drivers of the North Country? NO. This landfill is not needed and is terribly sited.
