As a parent, of course I would support this Bill. It brings more scrutiny to more people with the requirement of a public notice, and having the school board to approve (or not) the federal funds that would be coming in. I appreciate the clarity of marking these funds as unanticipated so that whatever the federal government might be providing to our children is carefully considered. Nothing should be given to our children without their parents approval. This at least gives the parents a chance to make their testimonies heard.
