Stop trying to remove my natural rights affirmed under the nation's and state's constitution. A right delayed is a right denied. Furthermore, the logistics of this waiting period is absurd. Forcing someone to take time off from work and put extra miles on their vehicle to go pick up a firearm after this arbitrary 72 hours. In the meantime he or she is out money for a product that they have purchased but don't have possession of. Regarding the background check proposal, federal and state law already covers this. Fed law requires FFL intervention during all new firearm sales or sales that cross state lines. RSA 159:14 requires a person to have a NH Pistol and Revolver License for handgun sales unless the person is personally known to you. That's a background check there. FFLs charge $35 to $40 around here. Forcing someone to use an FFL when they do not have to is an absurd tax on the 2A. I spent almost 30 years in the Army and didn't move to New Hampshire to have someone try to stomp on my rights. Leave me alone.
