The House Education Policy and Administration Committe should revamp the special education reimbursement formula the state uses as aid to local school districts to provide substantial financial support for students in need of special education services and long overdue property tax relief. HB 121 adds a burden on parents by requiring formal meetings and even requiring an annual report to the school board "summarizing its activities, recommendations, and any concerns raised by parents during the year. This report shall be made publicly available on the district website." Please vote HB121 inexpedient to legislate. Thank you.
