Dear Members of The House Education Funding Committee, I oppose Federal funding such as HB 656 . What the Supreme Court ruled in 1943 that whatever the federal government funds it can control (Wicard Vs Filburn ). Reminds me that this truism has a revealing story: “Once upon a time two hunters in the dead of the winter with their dogs got lost , run out of food and were freezing and starving. So they cut off their dogs tails , put them in a pot to boil. After feasting on the dog's tails, they threw the dogs the remaining morsels. And the dog's licked their masters hands in gratitude.
