.I am a psychologist with expertise in adolescent development. The shelter for homeless youth is bare bones essential at a critical, vulnerable time in a child's development. The shelter has operated at full capacity, with its 14 beds consistently filled since it's opening. .Tragically, Waypoint has had to turn young adults away every night due to overwhelming demand. We need more commitment and support for our kids, not less! Thank you.
