My reason for supporting HB273 is that it is important for parents to have access to the record of what their minor children have borrowed from a library. This law is written sufficiently narrow as to who has access to the minor child’s library borrowing record by specifying that only a parent or legal guardian that has the same address as the address on child’s library account may have access.
