I oppose this bill as it is part of a bigger picture that the business of marijuana has in our state to increase profits. This bill is only going to increase the amount of marijuana available for sale in our state. If you step back and look at all of the marijuana/cannabis bills being presented this session you can see there is a bigger plan. It is all about the business of marijuana making money. Our Governor has stated she will not support legalization, so the Therapeutic Cannabis program has put in a great effort to expand their operation, offering a larger variety of high potency, addictive THC (the addictive drug part of the plant that causes a high) I am asking that you please do not support this bill or any other bill that would increase access to the drug of marijuana/cannabis in our state. In my professional life, as the Director of the Raymond Coalition For Youth, I see how many children are impacted by the rising use of marijuana in our state, be it their own use or mainly that of their parents or caregivers. I thank you for your time and am happy to answer any questions you may have. 603.785.4560
