I run a certified organic vegetable farm in Kingston, NH called Wild Fern Farm and I received a Climate Resiliency grant last year to purchase compost. We have been applying the compost to the vegetable fields to increase the soil’s resiliency to intense rainstorms and long periods of drought. This grant is enabling farms to become more resilient to the climate challenges that we are facing, ensuring food security for New Hampshire.
