Please SUPPORT HB215. Submitting a report listing potential harms and benefits of the project seems reasonable and necessary in order to protect human health, animal health, and our environment including our air, land, and groundwater. Once our land and water are tainted, it is EXPENSIVE to clean up, IF it can be cleaned. There are far too many towns and cities in NH that already have toxic wastes with PFAS, lead, gasolene, oils, antifreeze, asbestos, runoff from farms (animal and/or chemical waste,) etc. in their air, water, and/or land. It makes more sense to protect our environment before it is harmed. Ask the DOE.
