It is the imperative mission of the State of New Hampshire to aid municipalities with educational needs of the children of the citizens of the various towns of the state. A robust public education is necessary for the continued prosperity of the state. Further, the tax burden laid upon town citizens by the state is unfair and does not live up to the historical precedent of support given to towns. It is necessary for the financial health of New Hampshire's towns, including my own town of Newmarket, for the state to pass and fund HB366. Lift the undue and unfair tax burden the state has laid upon the municipalities.
