I am writing in support of this bill. College students, who did not attend a New Hampshire high school, may not have had the privilege of being educated on the US Constitution as New Hampshire high school students had. These students deserve and need to learn about our Country’s system of government. I understand that, regarding a previous version of this bill, much of the opposition was around the argument that international students come from all over the world and this is not their first country. Many of these students will remain in our Country after graduation and they need this education in order to actively participate in our Country. Even if they do not plan to remain here, we are proud of our way of governing and should teach it to these students so they better understand us when they return home
