Declawing cats is extremely cruel and other states have acknowledged this. There is no justification for this practice. I have seen this surgery in person and it was horrific and traumatizing. There’s no excuse for an ethical veterinarian to want this practice to continue other than for monetary gain. This is clearly mutilation and the fact NH hasn’t been able to pass this is very disappointing and puzzling.
