Taylor Barry | Support HB65

Historic Supreme Court Cases such as Shenck v. United States (1919) and New York Times Co. v. United States (1971) have continuously upheld the right to freedom of the press, recognizing the press' role in holding the government accountable to the Constitution and the people. HB65 would act as an extension of these essential court cases, ensuring that Consumer Reporting Agencies are adequately provided with the information that they need to lay out the state of the housing market each term. Since housing is a basic right, it is essential that both consumers and politicians are provided with accurate information on this matter in order to make informed decisions.
