Dear Committee members, from all that I have read and also heard from knowledgable people, declawing a cat is cruel and inhumane, likely causing lifelong pain or discomfort.. Cats have an innate need to sharpen their claws on objects humans might object to. There are some non painful solutions that might help....or just choose not to have a cat for a pet. Please support this humane bill.
