New Hampshire taxpayers cannot afford to shoulder the billions of dollars annually in fossil-fuel induced climate change damage to our infrastructure and economy, let alone the $3.7 billion annual health-related costs from fossil-fuel air pollution (NH DES March, 2018 Air Quality report). It is time to insist the oil companies pay their due for the damages they knowingly cause at our expense.
