Climate change is happening now. It is primarily caused by the burning of fossil fuels. The fossil fuel industry knew what its products were doing to the planet over 50 years ago and followed the tobacco industry's strategy, crank up the disinformation machine and deny the science. Once denial was no longer a viable strategy, they shifted to delaying action. Both strategies have harmed the planet and the inhabitents of the planet. How much? We need to know and this bill is a good start.
