STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three

 

AN ACT relative to keno license applications and fees.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

93:1  Keno; License Fees.  RSA 284:44 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

284:44  License Fees. The lottery commission shall not charge a separate fee associated with issuing a keno license.

93:2  Keno; License Applications.  Amend RSA 284:45, V(b) to read as follows:

(b) Neither the applicant nor any employee will operate keno games, be licensed under this subdivision, or rent, lease, sublease, or otherwise provide any hall or keno paraphernalia for the conduct of keno licensed under this subdivision, if such person [has been convicted of a felony within the previous 10 years which has not been annulled by a court, or a misdemeanor involving falsehood or dishonesty within the previous 5 years which has not been annulled by a court, or has violated the statutes or rules governing charitable gaming in this or any state. ] has been convicted of a felony or class A misdemeanor within the previous 10 years which has not been annulled by a court, or a class B misdemeanor within the past 5 years which has not been annulled by a court, or has violated any of the statutes or rules governing charitable gambling in the past in this or in any other state.

93:3  Keno; License; Issuance.  Amend RSA 284:46, II(a) to read as follows:

(a)  The license of the applicant has been previously revoked by the commission and has not been reinstated by the commission.

93:4  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
