STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand
AN ACT relative to payment for overtime by salaried employees.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Payment of Overtime for Salaried Employees. Amend RSA 275 by inserting after section 43-b the following new section:
275:43-c Payment of Overtime for Salaried Employees. A salaried employee who works more than 50 hours in a week shall receive his or her full salary plus an additional hourly rate for every hour over 50 hours. The hourly rate shall be calculated using the salary employee's regular weekly salary divided by 40.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
