HB 1193-FN - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT relative to the penalty for non-moving violations by youth operators.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Department of Safety has determined this bill may reduce highway fund revenue in FY 2001 and each year thereafter. There will be no fiscal impact on county and local revenue or state, county and local expenditures.
METHODOLOGY:
The Department of Safety cannot estimate the number of holders of youth operators licenses who might be charged with non-moving violations, therefor, by establishing this exemption, the Department is unable to determine how much license restoration fee revenue might be reduced.
