STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

AN ACT relative to notice of village district elections.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

116:1  Village District Elections; Warrant; Notice to Supervisors of the Checklist.  Amend RSA 670:5 to read as follows:

670:5  Warrant.  Village district elections shall be warned by the commissioners in the same manner as town elections are warned by the selectmen as provided in RSA 669:2 and RSA 39.  The commissioners shall give the supervisors of the checklist 60 days notice of any village district election.

116:2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
