THE COMMITTEE ON Commerce
to which was referred HB 1285
AN ACT establishing a commission to study if New Hampshire may implement an R-PACER program.
Having considered the same, the committee recommends that the Bill
BE REFERRED TO INTERIM STUDY
BY A VOTE OF: 5-0
Senator Tara Reardon
For the Committee
This bill would have established a commission to study if New Hampshire should implement a Residential Property Assessed Clean Energy or Resiliency (R-PACER) program. The Committee felt there were too many unanswered questions, such as who would be responsible for administering the program and if it has been successful in other states.
