BE REFERRED TO INTERIM STUDY
BY A VOTE OF: 4-0
Senator James Gray
For the Committee
HB 1319 would permit towns, village districts, or school districts to establish or remove a local fiscal accountability committee for towns and schools. The committee believes that municipalities can already create an ad hoc committee to handle these matters, making this bill redundant. Additionally, the committee also wants to evaluate the effect of HB 1575 before making additional changes.
