For the Committee

This bill limits the ability of the director of the Division of Motor Vehicles to manufacture, advertise for sale, sell, or possess any fictitious, facsimile or simulated license to drive a motor vehicle to individuals who are U.S. citizens performing official duties under state or federal law. The Committee finds it best to not move forward with this legislation because it could interfere with legitimate law enforcement operations, including coordination across jurisdictions.
