Senator Tara Reardon

For the Committee

HB 1569-FN repeals the requirement that the state sell the Anna Philbrook Center property located in Concord, New Hampshire. The Department of Health and Human Services has made it clear that they still require the beds and space the Philbrook Center makes available to accommodate for the needs of the state. The revenue which would have come from the sale will be partially offset by income from third-party contracts as the Center continues to be used.
