For the Committee

This bill requires the Secretary of State to develop a voter education program focused on recent changes to voting laws. Existing statutes already direct the Secretary of State to conduct voter education initiatives. The Secretary of State’s Office provided a list of current voter outreach activities it is implementing. Consequently, the committee recommends an Interim Study for HB 1601.
