AN ACT relative to trustees of the university system.

AMENDED ANALYSIS
This bill provides that the university system board of trustees shall include 3 student trustees, one from Keene state college, one from Plymouth state university, and one from the university system of New Hampshire. The bill also removes the member elected by the alumni of Granite state college, effective June 30, 2025.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT relative to trustees of the university system.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
300:1 Trustees of University System. RSA 187-A:13, III is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
III. Three members shall be student trustees, one from each of the following educational institutions:
(a) Keene state college.
(b) Plymouth state university.
(c) The university of New Hampshire.
300:2 Repeal. RSA 187-A:13, VII, relative to election of a member of the university system board of trustees by alumni of Granite state college, is repealed.
I. Section 2 of this act shall take effect June 30, 2025.
II. The remainder of this act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
