For the Committee

Last year, the legislature passed HB 1626, which aimed to allocate $0.25 from each dog license fee to a fund supporting the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. However, the bill unintentionally reduced the overall fee for dog licenses. Passing HB 1274 will bring the fee back to the same level as before HB 1626 was enacted last year.
