Amendment to SB 84
Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:
AN ACT repealing the John G. Winant memorial commission and making the maintenance of the memorial a duty of the joint legislative historical committee.
Amend the bill by replacing all after the enacting clause with the following:
1 New Paragraph; Joint Legislative Historical Committee; Responsibilities. Amend RSA 17-I:2 by inserting after paragraph IX the following new paragraph:
X. Overseeing the maintenance of the John G. Winant memorial.
2 Repeal. RSA 4:9-l and 4:9-m, relative to the John G. Winant memorial commission, are repealed.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.

This bill repeals the John G. Winant memorial commission and making the maintenance of the memorial a duty of the joint legislative historical committee.
